Last updated: 5 March 2018Jane Keller continues to try to balance her teaching with her performing. She loves doing both and it gets quite hectic at times.
Jane continues to perform her one woman shows around the country, but also has recently enjoyed being part of two musical theatre casts. In 2017 she performed the role of Penelope Pennywise in Stagecraft's production of URINETOWN. Getting to sing "A Privilege To Pee" was great fun. In early 2018 Jane was the pushy but loveable (maybe not) Mother Superior in Wing It Production's NUNSENSE. Playing a nun in full habit in the summer heat was interesting.
Jane continues to run her thriving private vocal studio in Wellington as well as teaching singing on the musical theatre course at Te Auaha (formerly Whitireia).
She acts as an outside assessor at various tertiary institutions throughout NZ. She also enjoys working with Richard Marrett as an adjudicator for the yearly Graham Allen Musical Theatre Competition held at the Auckland School of Music.
Jane is a long time tutor at the NZ Singing School. It is always a joy to return to Hawkes Bay to reunite with colleagues and meet new students.
Life is full and I am grateful.
